Located in Mount Hope, West Virginia, on 10,000 acres of land, the site is the home of the BSA National Jamboree that accommodates approximately 40,000 scouts and an additional 50,000 visitors. The project consists of overall identity and wayfinding throughout the site, camping areas, basecamp activity areas and The Summit Center. The design team at RSM Design created a balance between the natural sense of place the site brings, and the contemporary attitudes of the activities and innovative areas that were created. Project coordination, particularly installations, were challenging with the remote locations and limited site access.
